Room assignments are made primarily by matching responses on the Room and Board Application (the Housing Preference section). To request a specific roommate(s), please submit your applications at approximately the same time and make sure the request is mutual.

Southwestern has both single and shared rooms. Rooms are available on a first come, first served basis.

Students will be notified of your room assignment two to three weeks before the quarter begins. Assignments may be changed within two weeks after the beginning of the term if your room or roommate(s) is not satisfactory. All requests for changes will be based on the situation and availability.
