Student Discounts
All current Southwestern students are eligible for various discounts throughout the community. Simply show your current Student ID Card at many participating local businesses.

Student Activities
The Student Activities program seeks to encourage personal development by offering every opportunity to take part in activities outside the classroom.

Athletics
Southwestern currently fields teams in men's basketball, baseball, wrestling and soccer, women's basketball, softball, volleyball, soccer, men's and women's golf, and coed track.

Student Housing
The student housing apartments are located at the west edge of campus along the shore of beautiful Empire Lakes. They offer an environment conducive to development and growth academically, socially and personally.

Student Handbook
This handbook is a reference for all students attending Southwestern. It represents the policies of the College, grievance procedures for students and much more.

Campus Events
View the current events at Southwestern. See a play, listen to music and more at the Hales Center for the Performing Arts.

Clubs and Organizations
Several clubs and organizations are active on campus, differing each year with the interests of the students.

Cafeteria

Recreation Center
The Recreation Center has a fully-equipped fitness center featuring cardio equipment, circuit weight training machines, and free weight equipment. The facility also offers a basketball court, racquetball court, and day-use lockers.

Student Government (ASG)
The Associated Student Government of Southwestern Oregon Community College (ASG) is a recognized platform for student governance and the development of leadership.

The Southwester
The Southwester student newspaper publishes news, information and commentary on college and community life.

Students Right to Privacy (FERPA)
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, also known as the Buckley Amendment, protects the privacy of student records.
