First half of Fall Term, Work, and Life in general

Favorite time of year

"By working to ensure we live in a society that prioritizes public safety, education, and innovation, entrepreneurship can thrive and create a better world for all of us to live in." -Ron Conway

Hey Everyone!

We're back at Southwestern for another great year! This time of year is probably my favorite on campus. The weather never fails keep you entertained, the colors on a good portion of the leaves on campus change, and there is an excitement in the air as so many new students start down their career pathways.

Class is going well... I say class instead of classes because I am currently only taking one class, but with working so much and volunteering, it's just enough to manage. Next term I'm hoping to take more classes, but for now the one class is good.

Work is going well. Not a whole lot has changed for the security department on campus other than that we have a few new faces around which is never a bad thing. I really enjoy being able to work with the students, and perform a job function that is so similar to my career goals. Remember that if you're a current student and see suspicious activity on campus, let us know by calling our patrol phone: 541-297-4200. We're here for you 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Other than that not a whole lot has changed in my kneck of the woods. I hope everyone's classes are going well so far. Remember to utilize the student support services departments on campus to help you succeed. If you are someone who is reading this and looking into taking classes at Southwestern, feel free to get a hold of me or one of my fellow ambassadors using one of the methods below!
