Last weekend Ryan, David (my brother), and I went on a sturgeon trip with Tall Tales Guide ( a family member of mine) on the Columbia River out of Portland.  It was mine and Ryan's first time fishing for sturgeon so all we really wanted was to catch a fish.  I ended up catching two undersized fish, so I didnt get to keep anything, but it was still a blast.  The last fish of the day was a 48 inch keeper that weighed close to 30 pounds, too bad it was on Ryan's pole.  I cant wait to go again!! Next time we are fishing for oversized fish, which are 6 feet and over.
