I made BBQ rips last weekend and they were DELICIOUS!!! I like making bbq food, but it just takes so long to do it and then if it is not as good as you hoped its a major let down after all that prep time.  This time though I made some good pork ribs that took about 6 hours to cook, but were worth the wait for sure!  They may have been even better as left overs reheated!! I was happy and they made a good meal.  Now I want more, but have to wait until this weekend to use the bbq again.
