Week 8 Winter Term

We got home Sunday evening from the national tournament in Minnesota. I am more than proud to tell you all that I am officially and All American!! I took 6th in the nation! A long 5 months has finally paid off and rewarded me with a glorious title I will hold for the rest of my life. Looking back on this season, it has had its up and downs. I have loved hanging out with all of the fellow wrestlers, spending 2 hours everyday with them and my awesome coaches during practice. Not to mention the countless hours of travel and time at tournaments. I am ecstatic to have wrestled so well when it came down to it. It made this whole year much better than it could have been. So much cutting food and water, every week of being tired from practice and thirsty. All of it is completely worth it. It just goes to show that if you really desire something enough, if you put in the effort and make it happen when it comes down to it, you can accomplish just about anything you want to in life. I have seen this first hand last weekend and am telling all of you to set your goals as high as you want them. Get things done in life that you desire. There is no feeling like absolute personal accomplishment!!
