SWOCC, a member of the Oregon International Education Consortium (OIEC), offers four study-abroad programs. The OIEC consists of eight community colleges in Oregon:

1. Central Oregon Community College
2. Chemeketa Community College
3. Clackamas Community College
4. Linn-Benton Community College
5. Mount Hood Community College
6. Portland Community College
7. Rogue Community College
8. Southwestern Oregon Community College

The OIEC works with the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS), an international organization that locates housing, purchases airline tickets, arranges for classrooms and fieldtrips, supplies health insurance, and acts as on-site advisors.
