The Southwestern Bookstore has all the books and materials you need to start classes, and they also carry several other items such as snacks, clothes, Southwestern memorabilia and gifts.

Business Services
Business Services is responsible for the college’s financial information. Their duties include accounts payable, purchasing, sponsor billings, bank transactions, 1098Ts, audit preparations, grant management and all financial accounting.

SWOCC Dining Services can serve as a host for corporate conferences and business meetings, seminars, camps, banquets, weddings, dinners, receptions, holiday parties or any other social gathering.  We can provide catering a myriad of options that include refreshments, buffets, and formal dinners.

Dining Services
Southwestern Dining Services provides housing and meal plans for students. The Empire Cafe is located in Empire Hall and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday through Friday. On Saturday and Sunday the dining hall opens for brunch and dinner. 

Disability Services 
The DSS office provides services to students with documented disabilities (physical or learning) to help them be successful in college. Services include note takers, reader assistance, interpreters for the hearing impaired, and additional accommodations as prescribed.

Educational Support Programs and Services
ESPS offers the following services: Counseling, Career and Transfer Center, Academic Advising, Orientation, Testing Services, Testing Calendar (Coos Bay Office), Student Support Services, Educational Talent Search and Disability Services for Students.

Media Productions
The Media Productions team provides SWOCC with live streaming of sporting events and special events such as Commencement ceremonies, OCCIs End of the Year Celebration and more.

Media Services provides audio-visual and multi-media equipment for instructional and campus-wide use.

Rec Center
The student Rec Center is a fitness and recreational facility for students and community members. Students registered for a credit class can enjoy the facility for free.

Student Housing 
The student housing apartments are located at the west edge of campus along the shore of beautiful Empire Lakes. They offer an environment conducive to development and growth academically, socially and personally.

TRIO Student Support Services
SSS services are free and include tutoring, counseling, advising, campus visits to Oregon’s 4-year schools, cultural enrichment activities, and supplemental grant aid for qualified students.  

SWOCC Small Business Development Center
The SWOCC Small Business Development Center is part of the Oregon SBDC Network that provides practical information and services for the business success. 

Talent Search 
Talent Search is an educational access and retention program sponsored by Southwestern Oregon Community College and funded through the U.S. Department of Education.

Tutoring Lab 
To meet the academic tutoring needs of all Southwestern Oregon Community College students through the use of certified subject area specialists.

Transitional Education
Transitional Education provides a variety of classes and support services to assist non-credit and credit seeking students for success in academic programs and in the workforce. Improve your skills in math, reading and writing, up to college level through intensive study.

University Center 
The University Center is a collaboration between Southwestern and Oregon's four-year universities such as Oregon State University and Eastern Oregon University. The University Center allows students to complete bachelor's and master's degree programs without leaving the area.

All Southwestern Associate in Arts, Associate in Science and Associate in Applied Science degree programs are approved for VA benefits by the Veterans Administration. The Veterans Service Office in Dellwood Hall oversees veteran students' enrollment in these programs.

Writing Center 
The Writing Center is provided for students in all classes, not just in writing and literature classes. The Writing Center, located in Randolph Hall, room 6, is open daily and staffed by faculty and trained tutors.
