How do I get started?
- Students taking 12 or more credits in a term, receiving financial aid and/or pursuing a degree or certificate are required to submit an Application for Admission. Apply and submit the application fee online.
- Students taking fewer than 12 credits in a term and not receiving federal student aid, or attending for personal interest need to complete a New Student Record Form. Allow three working days to receive your myLakerLink login credentials.
Registering for an online class creates a financial obligation on your part (you have reserved a space in the class that is no longer available for anyone else). You may drop classes through Wednesday of the second week of the term and receive a full refund. If you later decide, for whatever reason, to drop a class you will still be financially responsible.
If you do not login and participate the first week, you will be administratively removed from the course. Technical difficulties (unless verified by the host/provider college), lack of financial aid, or not being prepared for the coursework will not excuse you.
PLEASE BE SURE TO FORMALLY REMOVE YOURSELF FROM YOUR ONLINE CLASS WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK OF THE TERM IF YOU DO NOT FEEL YOU CAN COMPLETE THE COURSE.
Once you are in the Course Search feature, you can narrow your search to only online courses by selecting the 'Term' you wish to search in, then changing 'Area' to Online.
