Invest in our students
Give to the Southwestern Oregon Community College Foundation and inspire students on their journey to improve their lives and shape the future. Help ensure a productive outlook for our college.
Are you considering a charitable gift?
- Scholarships
- Academic excellence and programs
- The arts
- College construction projects
We can help you decide when it's best to give or the type of asset you want to gift. We can discuss tax deductibility and how your gift can have the most impact.
What are your options?
Give cash or in-kind gifts
Many donors choose this path to give in areas where we need it most. Consider funding scholarships to help our students pay for tuition, books and living expenses. Many people donate personally or through corporate match.
Plan your gift
- Create a permanent endowment that will fund a scholarship or program forever.
- Donate stocks or bonds, or real estate to gain tax incentives.
- Create a trust.
- Make the SWOCC Foundation a beneficiary on life insurance or retirement plans.
Give your time
You can also be a part of our Alumni Association or our board. The time you give is valuable. Being a part of the Foundation means you'll have a truly positive impact on our college and community.
We welcome exploring options with you and your financial and retirement advisors. Come talk about opportunities with us. We'd love to meet you!

Bandon women honor a dedicated alum
The community giving group 100 Strong Bandon has joined with Southwestern Oregon Community College Foundation to help students succeed, supporting a scholarship to honor Barbara Dodrill. She originally attended Southwestern and went on to earn bachelor's and master's degrees, eventually returning to teach accounting for 40 years at Southwestern.
