Southwestern Oregon Community College has developed our branding on some popular social networks. Our goals are to communicate and promote the college and our programs with students, future students, alumni, parents and Southwestern community members and partners. We are taking advantage of the viral nature of social media networks and bringing people back to the Southwestern website.   

The Marketing Committee has developed some guidelines for use of social networks at Southwestern Oregon Community College.

Southwestern has about 30 editors & managers and numerous Facebook accounts. These managers represent several programs and departments. They are staff and students who contribute to the daily content posted. and department pages.

Other Facebook pages around campus: 

Our official Twitter account has been maintained by the Web System Administrator. It's being used to send out college announcements and events. Currently there are several community members who subscribe to our account.

The SWOCC Media Production team schedules live streaming of campus sports and events through LiveSteam and maintains our account there. 

SWOCC has a special EDU account that gives us unlimited space to post video content.  Please contact the Web System Specialist if you would like access to add video content for your class or department purposes.
