Cheryl has been at Southwestern since 2001 as a professor of psychology and a TRIO education specialist. The field of psychology and education are later career choices that began after working for a year at a juvenile treatment center in Pendleton, Oregon (Eastern Oregon Adolescent Multi-Treatment Center). Her first career choice was in business where she worked for five years in Canada in the oil and gas industry. Her education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from McMaster University and a Master’s Degree in Science from Southern Oregon University.
