Design the home goods and architecture products of tomorrow with environmentally-friendly, plant-based materials! Our Forest Renewable Materials/Art and Design (AS) degree puts the materials in your hands and pushes you to consider their creative uses in everyday design applications. Our hands-on coursework will introduce you to many materials including bamboo, canes, and agricultural fibers and explain the current issues associated with their utilization such as global trade, energy, and environmental protection.
