International Student Estimated Costs (2024-25)

The estimated costs below are subject to change. Tuition and fee amounts are based on a student taking 15 credits per term over 3 terms, for an annual total of 45 credits. Costs will vary from student to student depending on the program of study and the total number of credits taken per term. International transportation expenses are not included as these will vary greatly from student to student. Tuition and fees are due in full by the end of the second week of each term.

Southwestern Oregon Community College has partnered with Flywire to streamline the process of international payments. Flywire allows you to pay securely from any country and any bank, generally in your home currency.

By making a payment through Flywire you can:

    1. Track your payments from start to finish
    2. Save on bank fees and exchange rates

*Per course fee is based on a student taking 4 courses per term over 3 terms, for an annual total of 12 courses. The total number of courses taken will vary depending on program of study. OCCI, Nursing, EMT/Paramedicine, Fire Science, Welding and Agroecology have additional program fees from those above. Please check with the relevant department head regarding specific program fees.

**Housing cost does not include the $250 housing prepayment, as well as the $30 per term social fee.

***International students studying in the USA must have their own health insurance coverage. Southwestern does not sell insurance to students. Families are free to purchase a health insurance plan that best fits their budget and personal needs. Student athlete health insurance plans must also cover athletic competition and training.
