STEPS TO JOIN
SWOCC Works welcomes a new group of students each term (Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer). Carefully read and follow instructions below to join!
Get Your Student ID #
New to Southwestern? If you are new to Southwestern and/or have not completed any courses at Southwestern within the past year, complete the Community Education & Personal Enrichment application form. This will get you an active SWOCC Student ID number. You may skip this step if you have taken classes at Southwestern within the past year.
Already a student? If you’ve taken classes at Southwestern within the last year, SKIP AHEAD TO STEP #2. Just make sure you can log into myLakerLink using your Student ID # and password. Trouble logging in or resetting your password? Visit the Help Desk Portal for step-by-step instructions, or call Laker One Stop at 541-888-7352 for assistance.
IMPORTANT: Applications are processed as quickly as possible, but can take up to 2 business days to process, so plan accordingly!
Complete the SWOCC Works Application
SWOCC Works welcomes a new group of students each term (Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer). To join, complete your SWOCC Works Program as soon as possible:
- Login to myLakerLink using your Student ID # and password.
- Navigate to the SWOCC Works Pre-Apprenticeship Program page.
- Complete and submit the program application form.
SWOCC Works Orientation
After submitting your application, expect an email to be sent to your socc.edu email account from a SWOCC Works representative
- IMPORTANT: Be sure you setup, are able to access, and check your socc.edu email, as this is where your email will be sent!
- The representative will outline the program expectations, time commitment and any next steps needed prior to starting the program.
- They will also confirm availability and clarify your start date.
- If you do NOT hear from someone within 5 business days, please call 541-888-1545 or email swoccworks@socc.edu.
With that, you’re all set! Plan to join the next group of SWOCC Works students for the upcoming cohort.
