Join us for a Fall community education baking class!

Fall is the perfect season for cozy flavors and festive treats—and Southwestern is serving up a chance to sharpen your baking skills with a hands-on Community Education cooking class at the Oregon Coast Culinary Institute (OCCI).

In this one-day workshop, Living the Gourd Life – Fall Desserts, you’ll learn how to:

  • Sculpt and decorate a mini pumpkin cake that looks just like the real thing.

  • Make and fry pumpkin cake donuts from scratch.

  • Create bat-shaped cake pops that are almost too cute to eat.

  • Add a Halloween twist by “spookifying” traditional cookie recipes.

Whether you’re planning a fall party, want to surprise friends and family, or just love pumpkin spice season, this class is designed for anyone who wants to wow their guests with show-stopping seasonal desserts. Bonus: you’ll take home the recipes to recreate the magic in your own kitchen.
